Preview Roundups
November 18, 2018
Dallas at NY Islanders 1:00 PM ET
After playing a stretch of eight consecutive games against teams that reached the playoffs last season, the schedule does not get any easier for the Dallas Stars. Coming off a historical victory over Boston, Dallas will play seven of its next eight games away from home, starting with a stretch of three road contests in four days Sunday at the New York Islanders.
New Jersey at Carolina 5:00 PM ET
The New Jersey Devils look to put a frustrating loss in the rearview mirror quickly when they visit the Metropolitan Division-rival Carolina Hurricanes on Sunday. The Devils had a 15-4 advantage in shots during the first period Saturday and built a two-goal lead late in the second before suffering a 3-2 overtime setback against Detroit but did earn a point for the third straight game.
Minnesota at Chicago 6:00 PM ET
The Chicago Blackhawks were performing well offensively for the first four weeks of the season, but they've been having issues of late. The Blackhawks hope to break out of their funk on Sunday as they conclude a three-game homestand with a matchup against the Minnesota Wild.
Colorado at Anaheim 8:00 PM ET
Offense, or lack of, has been the story for both Colorado and Anaheim this season, with the Avalanche featuring one of the league's most potent attacks while the struggling Ducks are next-to-last in the NHL in scoring. Despite the wide disparity in their styles of play, neither team has played well over the past few weeks entering Sunday night's clash in Anaheim.
Vegas at Edmonton 8:00 PM ET
The Edmonton Oilers began the month in solid fashion but have hit the skids of late, losing five of their last six contests. Edmonton attempts to right the ship Sunday as it seeks its third win in four home contests when it faces the defending Western Conference champion Vegas Golden Knights.
