Preview Roundups
March 24, 2019
L.A. Clippers at New York 12:00 PM ET
The Los Angeles Clippers are trying to emerge from the pack of teams fighting over the final four spots in the Western Conference playoff bracket and are winners of four straight after taking the opener of a four-game trip on Friday. The Clippers will try to make it five in a row when they visit the NBA-worst New York Knicks on Sunday.
Cleveland at Milwaukee 4:30 PM ET
The Milwaukee Bucks already clinched their playoff spot and the Central Division, but the No. 1 spot in the Eastern Conference and the best record in the NBA are still up for grabs. The Bucks will try to take another step toward both of those goals when they host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday.
Denver at Indiana 5:00 PM ET
The Indiana Pacers clinched a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference and are trying to sew up homecourt advantage in the first round, which may turn out to be very important to the team. The Pacers will try to earn their fourth consecutive victory at home when they return from a disastrous road trip and host the Denver Nuggets on Sunday.
Charlotte at Toronto 6:00 PM ET
The Toronto Raptors are running out of opportunities to gain ground on the first-place Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference. After dropping the opener of a three-game homestand, the Raptors will try to inch a bit closer to the top spot when they host the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday.
Houston at New Orleans 7:00 PM ET
The Houston Rockets are a well-rounded team that doesn't need to be carried by one player in order to win games, but occasionally James Harden takes over and shows why he's the reigning MVP. Harden will try to follow up a 61-point effort and lead the Rockets to a 14th win in 16 games when they visit the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday.
San Antonio at Boston 7:30 PM ET
The streaky San Antonio Spurs hope that they are not in the early stages of another downturn with the Western Conference playoff race in high gear. The Spurs will try to avoid a third straight loss on the heels of a nine-game winning streak when they visit the slumping Boston Celtics on Sunday.
Detroit at Golden State 8:30 PM ET
The Golden State Warriors fell out of first place in the Western Conference on Saturday, and they did so in embarrassing fashion. The defending NBA champions will try to pick up the pieces in a hurry when they host the Detroit Pistons on Sunday in the finale of their three-game homestand.
Sacramento at L.A. Lakers 9:30 PM ET
The Los Angeles Lakers, who officially will miss the playoffs for a franchise-record sixth straight season, start their final 10-game stretch with a home contest against the rival Sacramento Kings on Sunday. The Lakers were in the hunt for a playoff spot before losing 16 of their last 20 contests and will try to snap a five-game slide versus the Kings, who still have slim hopes for the postseason.
