Preview Roundups
March 04, 2019
Dallas at Brooklyn 7:30 PM ET
The furious surge that brought the Brooklyn Nets into the playoff race in the Eastern Conference and pushed them above .500 is a thing of the past, leaving the team searching for answers. The Nets will try to snap a three-game slide and move back to .500 when they host the Dallas Mavericks on Monday.
Atlanta at Miami 7:30 PM ET
The Miami Heat opened a home-heavy portion of the schedule with their most lopsided win of the season and they'll try to build more momentum when they host the Atlanta Hawks on Monday. Behind 25 points from Kelly Olynyk and a dominant performance on the glass, the Heat coasted past the Brooklyn Nets 117-88 on Saturday to get within one-half game of a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
Denver at San Antonio 8:30 PM ET
The San Antonio Spurs are a different team at home and again look like a team that can compete in the Western Conference. The Spurs will try to win their third straight and knock off another top team in the West when they host the Denver Nuggets on Monday.
Milwaukee at Phoenix 9:00 PM ET
The Milwaukee Bucks had a seven-game winning streak and their dreams of a perfect five-game road trip come to an end with a 115-111 loss at Utah on Saturday, but they still own the best record in the NBA. The Bucks will try to avoid dropping back-to-back games for the first time this season when they close out the trip by visiting the Western Conference-worst Phoenix Suns on Monday.
New Orleans at Utah 9:00 PM ET
The Utah Jazz just polished off a win over the team with the best record in the NBA and are winners of four straight games. The Jazz will try to make it five in a row and continue to climb up the standings in the Western Conference when they host the New Orleans Pelicans in the first of a home-and-home set on Monday.
New York at Sacramento 10:00 PM ET
The Sacramento Kings are slipping away from the top eight in the Western Conference and need to take advantage of a visit from the struggling New York Knicks on Monday. The Kings have lost three in a row and five of their last six to sink three games out of a playoff spot in the West, and 11 of their final 18 games are on the road.
L.A. Clippers at L.A. Lakers 10:30 PM ET
The Los Angeles Lakers are fading fast in the Western Conference playoff race and may have bottomed out with an ugly loss at last-place Phoenix on Saturday. The Lakers will try to bounce back and gain ground on one of the teams they hope to track down in the West when they host the Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center on Monday.
