Preview Roundups
February 07, 2018
Brooklyn at Detroit 7:00 PM ET
Life has been grand for the Detroit Pistons since Blake Griffin arrived and they will look to stay perfect with the star forward in the lineup when they continue a long homestand against the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday. The Pistons have won four in a row - three since acquiring Griffin in a blockbuster trade with the Los Angeles Clippers - and have a chance to move over .500 for the first time in roughly three weeks.
Houston at Miami 7:30 PM ET
The Miami Heat are suffering through their longest losing streak of the season and things won't get any easier when they host the red-hot Houston Rockets on Wednesday. A 111-109 home loss to lowly Orlando on Monday gave the Heat four straight defeats by an average of 3.5 points and may have pushed the organization a bit closer to a trade deadline shake-up.
Minnesota at Cleveland 8:00 PM ET
The Cleveland Cavaliers' lengthy slide continues to hit low points, and the team attempts to bounce back from another disappointment when it hosts the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday. Cleveland possessed a 21-point, second-quarter lead against lowly Orlando on Tuesday before falling 116-98 for its 13th setback in 19 games.
Utah at Memphis 8:00 PM ET
The Utah Jazz have matched their season-best winning streak and look to extend it to seven games when they visit the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday for the finale of their four-game road trip. The Jazz won the first three games of the trek by an average of 21.7 points and also have recorded a 30-point home win over Golden State during their overall winning streak.
Indiana at New Orleans 8:00 PM ET
The New Orleans Pelicans are predictably struggling since losing All-Star DeMarcus Cousins to an Achilles injury, and soon might find themselves on the outside looking in at the Western Conference playoff race. The Pelicans will try to bounce back from an embarrassing home defeat when they host the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday.
San Antonio at Phoenix 10:30 PM ET
The San Antonio Spurs have not been a superb road team this season and they hope that is about to change when they open their annual Rodeo Road Trip in Phoenix on Wednesday against the Suns. San Antonio has a 12-15 road mark entering the trek, which is only six games this season with the All-Star break falling during the excursion.
