Rangers 3, Blackhawks 2: Carl Hagelin celebrated his selection to Sweden's Olympic team by scoring the go-ahead goal with 5:57 remaining in the third period as visiting New York halted Chicago's 10-game point streak.

Brad Richards had a goal and an assist and Mats Zuccarello scored on the power play as the Rangers handed the Blackhawks their first regulation loss since Dec. 14. Henrik Lundqvist made 35 saves and collected his second assist of the season to improve to 5-1-2 lifetime against Chicago.

Captain Jonathan Toews and Brandon Bollig scored for the Blackhawks, who lost for the third time in four games (1-1-2). Corey Crawford turned aside 29 shots to remain winless in three starts since returning from a 10-game injury absence.

The Rangers jumped on Chicago with a pair of goals in the opening 9 1/2 minutes, with Richards beating Crawford between the pads from the right faceoff dot at 5:06 and Zuccarello converting on the power play at 9:29, scoring on a wraparound when Crawford was slow to react. The Blackhawks pulled even in the second on goals by Toews and Bollig 1:48 apart.

Patrick Sharp's blast from the point hit New York defenseman Dan Girardi and Toews quickly buried the rebound from the slot before Bollig whistled a wrist shot from the left circle that snuck past Lundqvist short side at 8:05 of the middle session. The Rangers swarmed Crawford in the opening five minutes of the third but could not break through until Hagelin backhanded a rebound of defenseman Marc Staal's knuckler from the point.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Richards has four goals and 25 assists in 22 career games against Chicago. ... Blackhawks D Duncan Keith notched his 40th assist on Toews' goal, moving him within 15 of his career high set in 2009-10. ... LW Daniel Carcillo, who was acquired from Los Angeles on Saturday, made his New York debut and drew the penalty to set up Zuccarello's power-play goal. Carcillo played with Chicago the previous two seasons.
