Jets 4, Flyers 1: Defenseman Grant Clitsome and Kyle Wellwood scored 27 seconds apart to ignite a four-goal second period as host Winnipeg halted a five-game losing streak.

Evander Kane and Bryan Little each had a goal and an assist and Ondrej Pavelec turned aside 30 shots for the Jets, who remained even in points with Washington (40) atop the Southeast Division. The Capitals, who posted a 4-3 win over Florida later on Saturday, hold the tiebreaker with a pair of games in hand.

Ruslan Fedotenko scored the lone goal for Philadelphia, which had its four-game winning streak snapped. Ilya Bryzgalov made only 12 saves before he was replaced to start the final period.

Fedotenko put the Flyers on top just over 11 minutes into the first period on a deflection, a bad omen against a Jets squad that had managed only six goals during the five-game skid.

Winnipeg finally got untracked in the second when Clitsome beat Bryzgalov at 12:38 and Wellwood converted a rebound shortly thereafter. Kane completed a three-goal binge in a span of 2:06 before Little finished off the blitz with 54 seconds left in the period.

GAME NOTEBOOK: G Steve Mason, acquired from Columbus at the trade deadline, made his debut for the Flyers in the third period and stopped all nine shots. ... Winnipeg's four-goal outburst in the second tied its season high for most goals in one period. ... Flyers D Luke Schenn was bloodied in the second period when he took a puck to the face off a shot by D Tobias Enstrom. Schenn returned later in the session.
