Joe Pavelski had a three-point outing while Evander Kane and Joonas Donskoi each collected one goal and one assist as the San Jose Sharks claimed a 3-1 win over the Calgary Flames in NHL action Sunday night.

Sharks goalie Martin Jones made 14 of his 29 saves in the third period to backstop his team to a home-ice victory that snaps a two-game losing skid.

Kane opened the scoring just 50 seconds into the game, potting his sixth tally of the season and seventh in his last three games against the Flames.

Kane collected the puck from Donskoi and worked to the left face-off dot before whipping a shot that beat the glove of Flames netminder Mike Smith.

Kane and Donskoi teamed up again for a goal early in the second period, too, to give the Sharks a 2-0 edge. Kane was given all the time in the world behind the Flames net, and with four Calgary players eyeing him, threaded a pass to slot that Donskoi buried just 88 seconds into the second period.

Pavelski -- the third member of the line that also includes Kane and Donskoi -- iced the game with an empty-net goal with 52 seconds remaining. He assisted the other two goals.

San Jose has won six consecutive meetings with the Flames.

Sean Monahan replied with the lone goal for the Flames at the 6:02 mark of the middle frame.

Mark Jankowski pounced on the puck after San Jose defenseman Erik Karlsson lost his footing and sprung Monahan for a breakaway, which he concluded by roofing a glove-side shot past Jones for the 300th point of his NHL career.

Calgary had a golden chance to tie the game when Sam Bennett was awarded a penalty shot with 7:38 remaining in regulation, but the Flames forward - who has gone 10 games without a goal -- couldn't convert.

Smith stopped 26 shots for Calgary, which lost two of three games during a California road swing.
