Mikey Anderson, Viktor Arvidsson and Anze Kopitar scored 1:23 apart in the third period to help the Los Angeles Kings earn a 6-2 win over the visiting Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday night.

Kopitar finished with two goals and an assist, Sean Durzi had a goal and two assists, Dustin Brown had a goal and assist, and Jonathan Quick made 27 saves for the Kings, who have won five of six. Alex Iafallo and Trevor Moore added two assists apiece.

Kris Letang and Radim Zohorna scored while Tristan Jarry made 39 saves for the Penguins, who had won 11 of 12.

Zohorna tied the score 2-2 at 1:37 of the third period, appearing to give the Penguins momentum, but the Kings answered by scoring on three consecutive shots.

Anderson netted his first of the season on a slap shot for a 3-2 lead at 3:07.

Arvidsson scored 10 seconds later off a two-on-one rush to make it 4-2.

Kopitar then made it 5-2 when he scored off a feed from Iafallo at 4:30.

Jarry was still in net when Durzi made it 6-2 with 1:40 left.

Brown notched the 700th point of his NHL career when he scored on a power play for a 2-1 lead at 14:32 of the second period. Jarry made a save on Trevor Moore's deflection, but the rebound came out to his left, and Brown was in position to slide the puck under the goalie's outstretched arm.

Brown is the seventh player in Kings history to score 700 points.

Kopitar registered his 1,031st point with Los Angeles at 13:48 of the first period, scoring to tie the game at 1-1. Two Pittsburgh players, Kasperi Kapanen and Mike Matheson, collided while trying to clear the puck out of the slot, leaving it for Kopitar to shoot past Jarry.

Letang gave the Penguins a 1-0 lead at 4:42 of the opening period. He sent the puck toward the crease from below the goal line, and it banked off Quick's skate and slid into the net.
