The Miami Dolphins defense had its way with Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.
Rookie linebacker Koa Misi recovered Favre's fumble in the end zone for a touchdown and Karlos Dansby denied Adrian Peterson on a fourth-and-goal attempt late in the fourth quarter to preserve a 14-10 victory.
Favre completed 22 of 36 passes for 225 yards, but he was intercepted twice by Jason Allen and once by Vontae Davis. In addition, Cameron Wake recorded 1 1/2 of the Dolphins' three sacks.
After Chad Henne found Brandon Marshall for a 46-yard gain on the team's first offensive play, the quarterback capped the drive with a 5-yard touchdown pass to Brian Hartline.
Henne completed 9 of 15 passes for 114 yards and Ronnie Brown rushed 13 times for 80 yards for Miami (2-0), which has won its first two games of the season away from South Beach.
Peterson rushed for 145 yards and scored from 1 yard out for Minnesota (0-2), which has scored a total of 19 points in its two losses this season.
The Vikings started the 2009 season by winning their first six games en route to claiming the NFC North and advancing to the conference championship game.
