No. 5 Kansas State 27, No. 25 Iowa State 21: Collin Klein rushed for three touchdowns as the visiting Wildcats held off the Cyclones to remain undefeated.

Klein rushed for touchdowns of 2 and 6 yards in the second quarter for Kansas State (6-0, 3-0 Big 12). His 12-yard run with 1:33 to go in the third pushed the Wildcats’ lead to 24-14.

Iowa State (4-2, 1-2) pulled within 24-21 on Jeff Woody’s 2-yard touchdown with 12:34 remaining. The Cyclones held the Wildcats to a field goal on the ensuing possession, but Iowa State quarterback Jared Barnett threw an incomplete pass on fourth-and-4 with 3:29 remaining.

Klein rushed for 105 yards on 25 carries, and completed 16 of 24 passes for 187 yards.

Barnett threw a 2-yard touchdown to Shontrelle Johnson and a 30-yard scoring strike to Ernst Brun Jr. in the second quarter.
