Pittsburgh 55, Gardner-Webb 10: Quarterback Tino Sunseri threw for 344 yards and three touchdowns as the Panthers drubbed the Runnin’ Bulldogs at Heinz Field.

Pitt (2-2, 0-1) enjoyed a number of a big plays on offense, as the Panthers posted 626 total yards on offense in the rout. Senior wideout Mike Shanahan hauled in five receptions for 144 yards and two touchdowns for the Panthers.

The Runnin’ Bulldogs (0-4) mustered just 127 yards of total offense and turned the ball over three times in what was a dominant outing by the Pitt defense.

Gardner-Webb senior cornerback Kamar Morrison scored on a 65-yard fumble recovery in the second quarter for the team’s lone touchdown of the afternoon.
