Chris Polk scored the game-winning touchdown with just two seconds to play. Polk capped a 10-play, 79-yard drive with a 1-yard run.

Cal’s Giorgio Tavecchio kicked a 47-yard field goal to break a 10-10 tie with 10 minutes left in the game.

Washington quarterback Jake Locker threw an 80-yard touchdown pass to D’Andre Goodwin in the third quarter for the first touchdown of the game.

Cameron Jordan gave California (5-7, 3-6) a 10-7 lead when he returned a Locker fumble 21 yards for a score later in the quarter. The Bears have lost three straight.

Locker finished 17 for 27 for 237 yards.
