Georgia took out its frustration from last week's heart-breaking loss to Florida in a 55-7 rout of Idaho State, Saturday in Athens, Ga.
Freshman quarterback Aaron Murray threw three touchdowns in the first half, and the Bulldogs returned two interceptions for touchdowns to improve to 5-5. Georgia needs a win at No. 2 Auburn next week or against Georgia Tech on Nov. 27 to become bowl eligible.
Idaho State (1-8), from the Football Championship Subdivision, managed only 151 total yards in dropping its eighth straight game. Kyle Morris' 25-yard touchdown pass to Tavoy Moore in the fourth quarter accounted for the overmatched Bengals' only score.
Murray completed 19-of-27 passes for 228 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions.
A.J. Green caught two of Murray's touchdown passes and finished with 103 yards on six receptions.
