Harvard 79, Boston College 63: Siyani Chambers scored 15 of his 21 points in the second half as the Crimson continued their recent dominance of the host Eagles.
Harvard (4-3) has won five straight meetings with Boston College by an average of 13 points, all of them on the road. It shot 54.9 percent and committed only eight turnovers. Wesley Saunders contributed 18 points and five assists.
Ryan Anderson scored 23 points on 11-of-12 shooting for the Eagles (3-5), who shot 58.1 percent (25-for-43) but had seven more turnovers than the visitors. Freshman standout Olivier Hanlan was limited to four points on 1-of-8 shooting.
Lonnie Jackson's 3-pointer with 42 seconds left in the first half pulled BC within 31-29 at the break. However, Harvard scored the first eight points of the second half, a run that Chambers capped with a three-point play.
The Crimson kept pouring it on, taking a 57-37 lead on another three-point play by Chambers with 12:34 left. The lead reached as high as 22 points down the stretch as the Eagles fell for the second straight time at home.
GAME NOTEBOOK: BC won 32 of the first 41 meetings before Harvard began to dominate the series. ... This was the first of seven straight home games for the Eagles. ... Jonah Travis chipped in 14 points for the Crimson. He was 5-for-5 from the floor and 4-for-4 from the line.
