Senior Brian Conklin put on an impressive display of shooting with 25 points to help St. Louis beat Oklahoma 83-63 in the championship game of the 76 Classic in Anaheim on Sunday.

Conklin, named the tournament MVP, knocked down 9-of-12 from the field and was 7-for-7 from the line to lead the Billikens (5-0) to their fourth straight victory against a team from a major conference.

St. Louis has already beaten Washington, Boston College and Villanova. Cody Ellis added 16 points and Kwamain Mitchell scored 10 for St. Louis.

Oklahoma (5-1) got 14 points from Romero Osby and Cameron Clark and 11 from Steven Pledger. It was the fewest points scored this year by the Sooners, whose previous low was 74 against Washington State.

The victory enabled St. Louis to tie the all-time series between the schools at 2-2.
