Khalif Wyatt and Ramone Moore scored 20 points apiece as Temple earned its second win over an ACC team with a 73-60 victory over Maryland on Saturday.
Juan Fernandez added 14 points and Aaron Brown scored 12 for the Owls (13-5, 2-2 Atlantic 10), who shot 9 for 22 from beyond the arc.
Temple took out then-No. 3 Duke on Jan. 4 and has nothing but A-10 action the rest of the way.
The Owls led by as much as 50-38 with 13:45 when Maryland began to climb back into the game. An 18-7 run over the next five minutes drew the Terrapins to within 57-56 with 5:26 on the clock.
Temple rediscovered its stroke from long range at that point, getting 3-pointers from Wyatt, Moore and Fernandez on consecutive possessions to stretch it back out. Wyatt’s layup with 2:30 left made it four baskets on as many possessions and the Owls would not allow a field goal in the final 3:53.
Terrell Stoglin scored 20 points for Maryland (12-6, 2-2 ACC), which lost center Alex Len to an ankle injury in the first half.
