Reserve guards Rickey Scott and Rashad Madden keyed a late run as Arkansas pulled away for a 77-63 win over Louisiana Tech in Fayetteville, Ark.
The Razorbacks (8-3) led by just two, 61-59, before Madden's three-point play with 6:14 remaining sparked an 11-2 run that put the game out of reach. The visiting Bulldogs (7-6) were held without a field goal for nearly six minutes down the stretch, missing eight consecutive shot attempts while Arkansas made its decisive push.
Scott finished with 18 points to lead the Razorbacks, including six in the final 4:25, while B.J. Young added 16.
Raheem Appleby paced Louisiana Tech with a game-high 23 points, including 11 during the Bulldogs' 17-6 game-opening spurt. The visitors made just 5-of-23 3-pointers and shot under 38 percent overall.
