Notre Dame overwhelmed Sacred Heart with a run of 20 consecutive points to extend its home winning streak to 27 games with a 106-65 victory on Monday.
The Fighting Irish (8-5) trailed by as many as seven in the first half before closing the period with nine consecutive points to seize a 48-37 halftime lead.
Notre Dame continued the surge after the break, tacking on the first 11 points of the second half to establish a comfortable 59-37 cushion with 17:26 remaining.
Jack Cooley finished with 19 points, eight rebounds and three blocked shots to pace five Fighting Irish players scoring in double figures. Jerian Grant added 15 points and seven assists.
Notre Dame shot 61.4 percent from the floor and turned the ball over only four times while assisting on 25 of its 35 field goals.
Shane Gibson led all scorers with 22 points for the Pioneers (6-7), who made all 15 of their free-throw attempts but struggled from the field in the second half, hitting only 35.5 percent of their shots (11-for-31) in the final 20 minutes.
