Mason Plumlee finished with 15 points and 13 rebounds as No. 5 Duke pummeled North Carolina-Greensboro 90-63 at Cameron Indoor Stadium on Monday.
Freshmen guards Quinn Cook and Austin Rivers each added 14 points for the Blue Devils (10-1), who won their 41st straight home game to match the second-longest such streak in school history.
Duke has won 91 straight non-conference home games – the longest current streak in the NCAA – and 85 straight home games against unranked non-conference opponents.
The Spartans (2-10) hung around for most of the first half, trailing by just two points following a dunk by David Williams with 4:30 left before intermission.
However, Rivers and Andre Dawkins combined for three 3-pointers on the next three possessions, as Duke took a 45-34 advantage into halftime. The Blue Devils opened the second half on an 18-6 run to stretch the lead to 23 and led by as many as 36 late in the game.
Kyle Randall scored 12 points off the bench to lead UNC Greensboro, which has lost both of its games under interim head coach Wes Miller.
