No. 3 Kentucky got 24 points from Doron Lamb to beat Chattanooga 84-62 Saturday, easily rebounding from its first loss of the season.
The Wildcats (9-1) raced to a quick 18-2 lead and were never threatened as they improved to 8-0 against the Mocs from the Southern Conference. Lamb made 10 of 17 from the floor, four of them 3-pointers, and fell one point short of his season high.
Kentucky also got 14 points and 16 rebounds from Anthony Davis, 14 points and eight rebounds from Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, 12 points from Darius Miller and 11 points and seven assists from Marquis Teague.
Chattanooga (3-8) was led by Drazen Zlovaric with 13 points and nine rebounds. Ricky Taylor scored 11 and Keegan Bell scored 11, but made only 3-of-15 from the floor.
