Jae Crowder had 21 points and seven rebounds as No. 11 Marquette rolled to a 79-61 victory over visiting Green Bay on Saturday.
Davante Gardner and Vander Blue each added 14 points for the Golden Eagles (9-0), who opened the season with nine straight wins for the first time since 2004-05.
Marquette wasted little time imposing its will on Green Bay (4-6) as the Golden Eagles forced the Phoenix into three early turnovers and 1-of-6 shooting and took an 11-2 lead less than four minutes into the contest.
Green Bay managed to cut the deficit to seven late in the first half, but could get no closer once Crowder answered with a 3-pointer and Darius Johnson-Odom hit a jumper on the following possession with 1:25 left before the break.
The Golden Eagles, who led by as many as 20, enjoyed a 46-24 advantage in points in the paint and turned 23 turnovers - including 15 steals - into 34 points.
They also managed a 32-8 margin in fast break points.
Sophomore center Alec Brown finished with a season-best 22 points and a career-high 14 rebounds for the Phoenix.
