Andre Roberson hustled for 15 points and 15 rebounds as Colorado overcame a 12-point first-half deficit and withstood a late Bulldogs' rally to win its 26th straight non-conference home game 70-68 on Monday.
The Buffaloes (4-2) also surged behind freshman Spencer Dinwiddie, who scored 16 points, and Askia Booker, who added 14.
The Bulldogs (4-3) led 38-34 after a half in which they hit 6-of-12 3-pointers and had eight assists on 15 baskets. But they missed their first 11 shots of the second half, and never had a chance to tie in the closing minutes. Georgia scored its final basket at the buzzer with the game out of reach.
Freshman guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope led Georgia with 15 points, and has scored in double figures in all seven games. Gerald Robinson came off the bench to score 14.
Georgia, which wrapped up a four-game road swing, fell to 6-2 all-time against Colorado.
Colorado’s 26-game streak ranks second in school history behind a 35-game non-conference home win streak from 1976-81.
