Marcus Denmon scored a game-high 26 points and No. 21 Missouri shot 58 percent from the field en route to a 87-58 rout of Notre Dame in the semifinals of the Progressive CBE Classic on Monday.

The Tigers (4-0) shot 63 percent in building a 52-37 halftime advantage. An early 12-1 run helped Missouri build a 25-12 advantage, and the Fighting Irish (4-1) could get no closer than seven the rest of the way.

Denmon was 9-for-11 from the field while Flip Pressey added 17 points and three steals. The Tigers had only eight turnovers.

Notre Dame, which had star forward Tim Abromaitis back for the first time after a four-game NCAA suspension, appeared to be out of sync at times offensively. Abromaitis had 22 points and seven rebounds.

The Fighting Irish shot only 36 percent from the field and made only 4-of-16 3-point shots.
