Isaiah Thomas buried a fadeaway jumper at the buzzer in overtime to give Washington a 77-75 victory over No. 15 Arizona in the Pac-10 tournament final Saturday in Los Angeles.

Thomas led Washington (23-10) with 28 points - 19 in the first half - and seven assists to give the Huskies their second consecutive Pac-10 tournament title and an automatic NCAA tournament bid.

Thomas’ performance outshined Arizona’s Derrick Williams, the Pac-10 Player of the Year who led the Wildcats with 24 points and 11 rebounds.

The buzzer beater was an exclamation mark on a game that featured several lead changes and big 3-pointers in tight situations from both teams. Arizona’s Kevin Parrom made a 3-pointer with 21 seconds left in overtime to tie the game at 75 before Thomas’ heroics.

Arizona held Washington scoreless for nearly five minutes late in the second half and seemed to be in control until Washington slowly chipped away. Washington trailed 68-65 with five seconds left in regulation when C.J. Wilcox hit a 3-pointer to send the game into overtime.

Wilcox and fellow freshman Terrence Ross played big throughout the Pac-10 tournament for Washington - particularly in the final. Ross had 16 points and four rebounds, and Wilcox added nine points.
