Laurence Bowers tied a season-high with 20 points to lead four players in double figures as No. 21 Missouri rolled to its fourth straight victory, 77-59 over visiting Baylor on Wednesday night.
Missouri (22-6, 8-5 Big 12), which has won 17 straight at home, raced to a 16-point lead in the first half as the Tigers held Baylor’s LaceDarius Dunn, the Big 12’s leading scorer, without a point, and Perry Jones, the Bears second leading scorer, to two points.
Dunn, who moved into second on the Big 12 career scoring list, had 12 points, while Quincy Acy added 13 points and nine rebounds for Baylor (17-10, 6-7), which has lost three straight.
Bowers added nine rebounds and a career-high six steals as Missouri collected 14 takeaways. Kim English added 16 points for the Tigers, while Marcus Denmon chipped in 13. Ricardo Ratliffe notched his second straight double-double with 11 points and a game-high 13 rebounds.
Dunn has 2,229 points, and is 28 from breaking the mark of 2,256 set by Texas Tech's Andre Emmett in 2004. He passed Texas Tech's Jarrius Jackson (2,221) on Wednesday.
