The Jayhawks (26-2, 11-2 Big 12), who were upset by Kansas State last Monday, led by 24 at the half and were never threatened by the overmatched Cowboys (16-11, 4-9 Big 12), who dropped their fourth straight game.
Kansas sophomore guard Elijah Johnson got the start in place of Tyshawn Taylor, who was suspended indefinitely for violating team rules on Monday. Johnson finished with 15 points. Markieff Morris also had 15 points and added seven rebounds.
