Junior guard Kyle Fogg scored a season-high 26 points to propel No. 16 Arizona to its sixth consecutive victory Sunday, a 67-52 triumph over Arizona State at Wells Fargo Arena.
Fogg - who made just one of nine shots in last week's win over California - went 7 of 14 Sunday, including 6 of 10 from beyond the arc. His performance was the difference for the Wildcats (21-4, 10-2 Pac 10), who went up by double digits late in the first half, carried a 10-point lead into the break and weren't seriously challenged the rest of the way.
Derrick Williams added 11 points for the Wildcats, who remain perched atop
the conference standings with a one-game lead over surging UCLA. For Williams, Sunday marked his 53rd consecutive double-digit scoring game dating back to last season.
Jesse Perry contributed 10 points and collected seven rebounds for the Wildcats, who won despite getting just two points from Lamont Jones. The sophomore guard was coming off a 27-point performance against Cal, but went 0 for 6 from the field against the Sun Devils.
Jamelle McMillan led Arizona State (9-15, 1-11) with 12 points and five assists. Trent Lockett scored 10 points, the only other Sun Devil in double figures.
