Try as it might, Clemson just can’t find a way to win at North Carolina.
Reggie Bullock scored 18 points and North Carolina added another win to its unbelievable streak against Clemson with a 75-65 victory Tuesday night in an Atlantic Coast Conference matchup.
North Carolina (13-5, 2-1 ACC) may not be the powerhouse it normally is, but it does not matter when it comes to playing Clemson at home. The Tar Heels improved their remarkable home record against the Tigers to 55-0, extending the longest home winning streak against one opponent in NCAA history.
Clemson (13-5, 2-2) had won eight straight games overall and had a chance to end its drought in Chapel Hill but could not score down the stretch.
Demontez Stitt scored to pull the Tigers within 66-65 with 4:26 to go, but the Tar Heels closed the game on a 9-0 run as the Tigers went 0 for 8 from the field, missed two free throws and committed two turnovers.
Stitt, Devon Booker and Andre Young each scored 11 points for Clemson.
