Matthew Bryan-Amaning notched 24 points and 15 rebounds and Isaiah Thomas added 19 points and eight assists as Washington stayed perfect in the Pac-10 with a 103-72 win over Oregon State Saturday at Bank of America Arena in Seattle.
Washington (12-3, 4-0 Pac-10) trailed by as many as eight points in the first half as Oregon State started the game 4 of 5 from the 3-point line, but stayed close thanks to 14 first-half points from Thomas.
The Huskies led by one at halftime and used a 16-2 run in the second half to seize control of the game. Amaning led the effort in the paint for the Huskies, who outrebounded Oregon State 40-30 and shot 56-percent from the field.
Washington’s Venoy Overton again started at point guard for Abdul Gaddy, who is out for the year with a knee injury. Overton recorded eight points and seven assists, while protecting the ball against an Oregon State defense that ranked among the national leaders in steals.
Oregon State (7-8, 2-2) was led by Jared Cunningham, who scored 21 points. Roberto Nelson added 15 for the Beavers, who dropped their fourth straight road game.
