Sean Kilpatrick led all scorers with 26 points as Cincinnati remained unbeaten Wednesday with a 77-69 triumph over visiting Wright State.
Kilpatrick was deadly from just about anywhere on the court, shooting 8-of-11 from the field while hitting all five of his 3-point attempts. His solid performance helped the Bearcats (6-0) shoot 50 percent for the game.
Kilpatrick scored Cincinnati's final four points of the first half to provide the Bearcats a five-point advantage. Cincinnati took control early in the second half, putting together a 17-2 run spanning more than six minutes midway through the second half.
Wright State (3-4) drew within eight late in the game but could get no closer.
Dion Dixon had 11 points for Cincinnati while Rashad Bishop and Yancy Gates added 10 apiece.
Troy Tabler and Vaughn Duggins paced the Raiders with 18 points each while N'Gai Evans poured in 17.
