Bobcats 100, Wizards 94: Kemba Walker tallied 21 points and 10 assists and Al Jefferson added 19 points and 11 rebounds as Charlotte rallied to stun visiting Washington.

Chris Douglas-Roberts scored 18 points off the bench for the Bobcats, who wiped out a 14-point deficit in the final 13 minutes. Rookie Cody Zeller added a career-high 15 points to go with eight rebounds as Charlotte moved within two games of the Wizards for the No. 6 seed in the Eastern Conference.

Bradley Beal scored 20 points to pace the Wizards, who would have clinched their first playoff berth in six years with a victory. Martell Webster scored 14 points off the bench while Drew Gooden added 12 points and eight rebounds and Al Harrington and Trevor Ariza each contributed 11 points.

The Wizards appeared to be cruising when a Martell Webster 3-pointer made it 80-66 in the final minute of the third quarter, but Charlotte trimmed the margin to 10 entering the final stanza and kept the momentum going. Beal's four-point play temporarily halted the rally and put Washington ahead 90-81 with 6:58 left, but the Wizards missed 10 of their last 12 shots and Douglas-Roberts converted a three-point play and drained a 3 during a 19-4 game-ending run.

Beal was the only Washington starter who played in the second quarter, but the reserves outscored Charlotte 40-19 in the period as the Wizards went 15-for-20 from the field and opened up a 60-44 halftime advantage. Washington shot 58.5 percent in the first half but just 36.8 percent after the break.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Jefferson suffered a cut above his right eye when he collided with Trevor Booker in the first quarter but received seven stitches and returned in the second quarter with a large bandage over the area. … Washington's 40 points in the second quarter marked the most the Bobcats have allowed in a period all season. … The Bobcats improved to 23-5 when scoring 100 or more points, including a 14-1 mark at home.
