Bucks 100, Raptors 83: Monta Ellis had 22 points and nine assists and matched a season best with six steals as host Milwaukee routed Toronto to clinch the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

Brandon Jennings had 16 points and seven assists and Larry Sanders contributed 12 points, nine rebounds and six blocked shots as the Bucks won for only the fifth time in 15 games. Milwaukee is two games behind seventh-place Boston with six games remaining.

Alan Anderson scored 14 points, Quincy Acy tallied 13 and DeMar DeRozan and Jonas Valanciunas added 12 apiece as the Raptors lost to the Bucks for the 10th consecutive time.

Ellis had 14 first-half points as Milwaukee led by as many as 24 before settling for a 61-42 halftime lead. Toronto missed its first nine field-goal attempts of the second half and Milwaukee used a 17-2 run to boost its lead to 32 on Jennings’ basket with 4:05 left in the stanza.

The Bucks led comfortably the entire fourth quarter while wrapping up their first postseason berth since the 2009-10 campaign.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Toronto shot 36.1 percent from the field and failed to reach 100 points for the 12th time in 13 games. … Ellis made all 10 of his free-throw attempts. … Raptors F Rudy Gay was just 1-of-10 for four points.
