Knicks 96, Bucks 86:
Carmelo Anthony scored 25 points and Tyson Chandler grabbed a season-best 20 rebounds as host New York defeated Milwaukee.

Amar’e Stoudemire and J.R. Smith scored 17 points apiece and Raymond Felton added 14 points and eight assists for the Knicks, who rallied from a 12-point deficit to beat the Bucks for the fourth consecutive time.

Ersan Ilyasova scored 19 points, Monta Ellis tallied 16 and Brandon Jennings added 14 for Milwaukee, which scored just 33 second-half points while losing its second straight contest.

New York trailed by 12 early in the third quarter but recovered to take a 74-73 lead into the final stanza. Milwaukee scored just two points over the first six minutes of the quarter and Iman Shumpert’s 3-pointer gave the Knicks a 92-81 edge with 3:09 to play. New York’s largest lead was 15.

Ilyasova had 16 first-half points to spur the Bucks to a 53-47 halftime lead. Milwaukee also had a 12-point advantage in the second quarter.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Anthony extended his franchise-record of consecutive 20-point outings to 31 despite a 7-of-22 shooting performance. … Bucks C Larry Sanders (illness) was back in the lineup after missing Wednesday’s game against Chicago and grabbed 10 rebounds. … Smith connected on five of New York’s 13 3-pointers.
