Knicks 113, Magic 97: Carmelo Anthony scored 20 points to set a franchise record with 30 consecutive 20-point outings as the host Knicks dispatched the Magic.

Tyson Chandler tallied 21 points on 10-of-11 shooting, Raymond Felton had 15 points and nine assists and Amar’e Stoudemire scored 14 on 7-of-7 shooting as New York handed Orlando its seventh straight defeat and 18th in 20 games.

J.J. Redick scored 29 points and Jameer Nelson added 21 points and nine assists for the Magic, who lost Glen Davis to a left foot injury in the first quarter.

Orlando kept the contest close until New York began pulling away in the middle of the third quarter. Stoudemire’s basket capped a 6-0 run that gave the Knicks a 68-62 lead and New York again led by six entering the final quarter.

The Knicks dominated the final stanza and led by as many as 18. A 3-pointer by Anthony with 6:09 left made it 94-80 and got him up to 20 to surpass the mark of Richie Guerin, who delivered 29 straight 20-point outings in 1961-62.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Knicks G Jason Kidd (back) sat out the contest. … Magic leading scorer Arron Afflalo (calf) missed his second consecutive game. … Pablo Prigioni and J.R. Smith also reached double digits with 11 points for New York, which shot 57.3 percent from the field and made 14 3-point baskets.
