Pacers 87, Heat 77:
Paul George collected 29 points and 11 rebounds and Indiana dominated the glass en route to its fourth win in the last five games.

David West added 14 points and 11 boards and Roy Hibbert made up for a poor shooting performance with 14 rebounds for the Pacers, who outrebounded the Heat 55-36 in their first meeting since last spring’s Eastern Conference semifinals.

Dwyane Wade scored 30 points, LeBron James added 22 and Chris Bosh scored 14, but the rest of the team managed only 11 as Indiana locked down the Heat. Miami has dropped four of its last seven games overall and fell to 7-7 on the road.

The Pacers hit three 3-pointers in a row, including a rare long-range shot from West during an 11-2 run in the third quarter that gave them a 55-53 lead. James halted that rally with a basket but the Heat went cold the rest of the quarter, making only one field goal over the final 4:55 at Indiana stretched the lead to 67-57 heading into the fourth.

George’s 3-pointer with 8:08 left pushed the gap to 77-60 and the Pacers managed to hold off a late push by going 5-of-6 from the free throw line in the final 38 seconds.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Heat entered the night 29th in the NBA in rebounding and have been looking for players to help out in the frontcourt. Veteran forward Chris Andersen reportedly worked out for the team on Tuesday. … The 77 points mark a season low for Miami, which has been held under the century mark in three straight games. … The Pacers limited the Heat to one fast-break point and forced 14 turnovers that led to 22 points.
