Spurs 116, Raptors 103: Manu Ginobili had 16 points and nine assists and Tony Parker added 15 points in a balanced effort as San Antonio toppled host Toronto.

Aron Baynes scored a career-best 14 points on 7-of-9 shooting and Tim Duncan also had 14 points for the Spurs, who had seven players score in double figures. Danny Green also tallied 14 points as San Antonio went 13-of-23 from 3-point range.

Amir Johnson scored 19 points on 9-of-11 shooting and grabbed nine rebounds and DeMar DeRozan also had 19 points for the Raptors, who lost for the sixth time in seven games. Terrence Ross tallied 14 points for Toronto, which played shorthanded after Monday’s seven-player deal that sent Rudy Gay to Sacramento in a package that brings Greivis Vasquez and three others to the Raptors.

San Antonio led 89-74 entering the final stanza and made sure the Raptors wouldn’t rally. Patty Mills hit three 3-pointers in a 71-second span to boost the lead to 22 with 10:21 to play and the Spurs led comfortably the rest of the way.

Toronto led 32-18 after 10 minutes of action before San Antonio rallied to take the lead 4 1/2 minutes into the second quarter. The Spurs led 59-53 at the break and increased it to 16 points late in the third quarter.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Ginobili made four of San Antonio’s 3-pointers. … Raptors F Tyler Hansbrough (shoulder) missed his second straight contest. … Baynes entered the game with 17 points on 7-of-27 shooting but received 21 minutes due to C Tiago Splitter (calf) being sidelined.
