Timberwolves 117, Suns 86: Andrei Kirilenko scored 20 points to lead seven players in double figures as Minnesota snapped a nine-game road losing streak.

Dante Cunningham added 18 points and Ricky Rubio had 12 points, eight assists, six rebounds and five steals as the Timberwolves avenged a one-point overtime defeat in Phoenix last month.

Luis Scola had 17 points and 12 rebounds and Goran Dragic contributed 13 points and 10 assists for the Suns, who lost for the sixth time in seven games.

The Timberwolves dominated from the outset, using an 18-4 spurt en route to taking a 31-18 lead after one quarter, and the rout was on.

Chase Budinger, in his second game since suffering a torn meniscus on Nov. 10, opened the second quarter with a personal 7-0 run as Minnesota went ahead by 20 and stretched the lead to 67-39 at halftime.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Suns C Jermaine O'Neal (calf/flu) and forward Jared Dudley (flu) both sat out the game. ... Budinger scored 11 points in 16 minutes for Minnesota, which shot 58.1 percent in scoring a season-high 67 points in the first half. ... Former Timberwolves F Michael Beasley had 11 points for the Suns, who dropped to 10-19 under interim coach Lindsey Hunter.
