Steve Novak scored a season-high 19 points off the bench, hitting 5 of 7 3-pointers, and Tyson Chandler added 17 points and eight rebounds as the Knicks halted a three-game road losing streak to remain tied with Brooklyn atop the Atlantic Division.

Brandon Jennings and Beno Udrih scored 18 points apiece to lead the Bucks, who trailed by 22 points in the final quarter in losing for the fourth time in five games. Monta Ellis added 17 points for Milwaukee, which got a combined two points from three starters.

The Knicks took control of the game in the waning minutes of the first half and at the outset of the third quarter. Anthony scored seven points in a 13-4 run to end the half to extend the lead to 58-48.

Novak buried a 3-pointer to trigger a 10-0 spurt to open the third quarter that pushed the advantage to 20 points. The Knicks hit 10 of 17 3-point attempts through three quarters and finished 11 of 21 from behind the arc.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Chandler continued his sizzling shooting from the floor, making all four of his field goal attempts, and has shot 32-for-36 in his last six games. ... Jennings, who leads the league in steals, failed to record one for the second straight game after having at least one in each of the first 11 contests. ... Knicks G Ronnie Brewer, who suffered a dislocated finger on his left hand in Monday's loss at Brooklyn, started but took only five shots and did not score until the fourth quarter. Knicks G Jason Kidd missed his second straight game due to back spasms.
