Grizzlies 93, Rockets 85: Rudy Gay scored a game-high 21 points and Zach Randolph added 15 points and 14 rebounds as Memphis began the second half with a 10-2 run and went on to win its franchise-record 13th straight home game.

Mike Conley poured in 14 points and Jerryd Bayless added 12 for the Grizzlies, whose 4-1 start matches the best in franchise history.

Chandler Parsons scored 19 points and James Harden chipped in 18 for Houston, which lost for the first time in three road games this season.

Gay began Memphis' third-quarter run with a three-pointer just 24 seconds into the period. Following a pair of free throws by Conley and a jumper by Marc Gasol, Gay converted a driving layup to give the Grizzlies a 51-48 lead.

Parsons hit a three-pointer with 10:08 left in the fourth to forge a 71-71 tie, but Zach Randolph scored five straight points to put the Grizzlies back in front. After Harden poured in four points to get Houston within 76-75, Wayne Ellington and Marreese Speights combined for nine points during an 11-0 run that gave Memphis the lead for good despite a late 10-0 run by the Rockets.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Grizzlies have led after three quarters in each of their five games this season. ... Houston G Jeremy Lin registered eight of the 10 points during Houston's late run in the fourth to finish with 15 points. ... Rockets C Omer Asik, who scored 10 points, pulled down 13 rebounds. He has recorded at least 10 boards in each of his last four games.
