TRAIL BLAZERS 118, WARRIORS 110: Reserve Jamal Crawford scored a season-high 34 points and Wesley Matthews had two big baskets in the final minute as Portland defeated visiting Golden State.

J.J. Hickson started in place of star forward LaMarcus Aldridge and scored a game-high 23 points and had 13 rebounds. Aldridge is nursing a sore right hip.

Matthews had 18 points and Raymond Felton had 16 points and 10 assists. Nicolas Batum scored 14. Joel Przybilla added 14 rebounds for Portland.

David Lee led Golden State with 21 points and 14 rebounds. Nate Robinson had 19 points and eight assists and Richard Jefferson scored 14.

Trail Blazers interim general manager Chad Buchanan said an abnormality was discovered in Aldridge’s hip during Tuesday's visit to Vail, Colo. Aldridge is officially listed as day to day. Buchanan said further testing and discussions will take place and there is a possibility Aldridge might need surgery.

Crawford scored 21 points off the bench in the first half and Hickson had 15 points and seven rebounds.

Down 10 at the start of the fourth quarter, the Warriors went on a 19-7 run to get back to 91-89 and then the game went back and forth.

Batum gave Portland a 109-104 lead with 2:16 remaining on a big 3-pointer. Thompson answered with a 3-pointer for the Warriors with 1:04 left but Matthews sealed Portland’s victory with two baskets, including a 3-pointer with 15 seconds left, for a 114-107 lead.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Oregonian reported that former Phoenix general manager Steve Kerr has told the Trail Blazers he is not interested in leaving his job as a broadcaster for TNT to become their general manager. … The Warriors had a 27-17 edge in assists.
