David Lee returned after missing eight games and had 10 points and six rebounds for Golden State, which lost seven of eight without their star power forward.

Wright finished with 30 points and missed just three of his 3-point attempts and Monta Ellis added 26 points, 10 assists and seven steals as the Warriors shot 50.6 percent, including 12-of-18 from the arc.

Trailing 51-48 heading into the third quarter, Wright nailed three 3-pointers over a 2 1/2-minute span that gave the Warriors a 68-61 lead with 6 1/2 minutes left, then drained two more 45 seconds apart to provide a 76-64 cushion with 3:45 remaining.

Golden State extended the lead to 16 after three quarters and Minnesota cut it under double digits just briefly in the last 12 minutes.

Kevin Love had 21 points and 23 rebounds and Michael Beasley added 28 points for the Timberwolves, who have lost four straight and six of seven.
