Eric Gordon made a triumphant return to the lineup after an 18-game absence, scoring 24 points to help the Los Angeles Clippers snap a five-game losing streak with a 106-103 win over the visiting Houston Rockets on Wednesday night.

Chris Kaman had 21 points and nine rebounds off the bench and Blake Griffin added 20 and 14 as Los Angeles halted the Rockets' five-game winning streak.

Kyle Lowry had 24 points and 11 assists for Houston, which hit 13 of 31 3-point attempts.

Gordon scored nine points in the final 4:46, including a 3-pointer that put the Clippers ahead for good at 94-91.

Mo Williams hit 6 of 7 free throws in the last 68 seconds as the Clippers withstood a pair of late 3-pointers by Lowry and Chase Budinger, who missed a tying attempt at the buzzer.
