Dirk Nowitzki had 21 points and 10 rebounds to help the Dallas Mavericks notch their 11th consecutive victory by defeating the visiting New Jersey Nets 102-89 on Thursday.

Shawn Marion added 18 points as Dallas (18-4) handed New Jersey its sixth straight loss. Caron Butler and Jason Terry added 15 points apiece for Dallas.

Nowitzki made 8-of-10 shots as the Mavericks shot 54.7 percent from the field. Dallas opened up a 55-40 halftime lead and didn't look back.

Brook Lopez scored 24 points and Anthony Morrow had 21 for New Jersey (6-17). Kris Humphries had 16 points and 13 rebounds.

New Jersey guard Devin Harris left the game in the first quarter with a sprained left shoulder and didn’t return.

Mavericks guard J.J. Barea contributed a season-high 13 assists.

The contest was the first trip to Dallas for Nets coach Avery Johnson since the Mavericks fired him after the 2008 season.
