Daniel Hudson threw seven strong innings and the host Arizona Diamondbacks snapped the San Diego Padres’ three-game winning streak with a 6-1 victory on Tuesday.

Hudson (4-5) allowed one run, eight hits, two walks and struck out six. The righthander has gone six or more innings in eight of his nine starts.
